See if Self-Managed Care is right for you.

What is Self-Managed Care?
When you self-manage your Support at Home funding, you make the decisions about the services and support workers you would like. If you are new to Support at Home or switching providers, we can help you understand and get started with self-management.
You know best what kind of services and help you need. With Self-Managed Care the things that are most important to you can be prioritised so your funds can go further. You control your own support team and schedule. As your support needs change, you can change your services.
The admin fees and overheads charged by traditional providers can eat up a huge proportion of your Support at Home funding. If you self-manage your Support at Home funding, you could receive more hours of support.
How Self-Management Works
When self-managing, you are required to go through an Approved Provider such as 101 Home Care for the administration of your Home Care Package. We are responsible for ensuring your home care package funds are spent on eligible services and equipment. We will pay for the services you consume (such as independent support workers), on your behalf, but you get to choose what services you want, and who you hire to help. Because you are choosing your services, our administration costs are lower, giving you more funding for services.
The option to ‘self-manage’ a government funded Support at Home is available to everyone. With Self-Managed Care, you access a range of services, Australia-wide, including:
Nursing & Medication Care
At Home Memory Care
Laundry & Cleaning
Personal Care
Shopping & Errands
Transportation Assistance
Nutrition & Meal Preparation
Home & Garden Care
Companionship Care
